Do note this is the shorter version that first turned up on the remastered 2004 Mei Ah DVD for which Ringo Lam provided a commentary (it is not clear if Lam made the cut or did not notice it). Mei Ah did not provide the original 5.1 mix to Eureka but it is unconfirmed whether the CN tracks are derived from the 5.1 track or upmixes from stereo. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray ALL Hong Kong- CN Entertainment - Yes, missing a dialogue scene present in the theatrical version (98:38). Eureka has stated that this was the only version provided by the rights owners but have not clarified if Lam deliberately removed the scene when the film was remastered for the 2004 DVD edition on which Lam provided a commentary track.
- Blu-ray B United Kingdom- Eureka - Yes, missing a dialogue scene present in the theatrical version (98:49). Eureka has stated that this was the only version provided by the rights owners but have not clarified if Lam deliberately removed the scene when the film was remastered for the 2004 DVD edition on which Lam provided a commentary track.
