The US Fantasia Anthology boxset has the 60th anniversary restoration with most extras and a DTS 5.0 audio track.
The US 2 Movie Collection and German Special Edition also have the 60th anniversary restoration with a differing commentary and an exclusive featurette with a Dolby Digital 5.1 track.

There have been multiple versions of "Fantasia" released theatrically and on home video over the years. On DVD there have been two versions available:

- The 1990 50th anniversary restoration, approximate runtime: 117 minutes (24fps). Hand-restored from original film materials, with digital reframing done to remove politically incorrect racial stereotypes in "The Pastoral Symphony" segment. The music and original narration by Deems Taylor from a magnetic audio track from 1955. Some of the original interstitial segment elements could not be found for the restoration.

- The 2000 60th anniversary restoration, approximate runtime: 124 minutes (24fps). Digitally restored from original film materials including newly rediscovered original interstitial segment elements, with digital reframing done to remove politically incorrect racial stereotypes in "The Pastoral Symphony" segment. Due to the audio elements of the rediscovered segments being too damaged to be restored properly, Deems Taylor's voice for the entire feature was redubbed by actor Corey Burton for the restoration.

• R2 Japan- Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment - No cuts - 1990 restored version, with digital reframing done to remove politically incorrect racial stereotypes in "The Pastoral Symphony" segment (116:58 NTSC).
• R2 United Kingdom- Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment - No cuts - 1990 restored version, with digital reframing done to remove politically incorrect racial stereotypes in "The Pastoral Symphony" segment (114:30 PAL).
• R2 The Fantasia Anthology United Kingdom- Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment - No cuts - 1990 restored version, with digital reframing done to remove politically incorrect racial stereotypes in "The Pastoral Symphony" segment (114:30 PAL).
