The box set has a brief interview with Kinski promoting the film.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film was released theatrically in 1971 in the United States in shortened version for double-billing with "The Beast of the Yellow Night". In 1987, a subplot involving a nurse and asylum inmates as well as gore inserts by Ed French were shot for a video version titled "The Bloody Dead" that was not released until 1997.
