Notes:The aspect ratio changes throughout the film, varying from 4:3 to 1.85:1. The film looks like it was shot 4:3 open-matte as sometimes the black bars just pop on to take it to 1.85:1 with no evident pan & scanning or zooming. The lengthy black & white sections in particular (displayed with an old style TV-shaped border on all sides) appear inconsistently formatted.
Released under the title "Blue Manhattan", which has been substituted for the original "Hi, Mom!" title in main and end credits. This is particularly noticeable at the end of the film, which originally ended on a freeze-frame of De Niro just after he’s delivered his final line, over which the original title and credits scroll up. In the Prism Leisure version, it cuts away to a black screen displaying the very cheaply generated “Blue Manhattan” title for the duration of the period the original title was on screen. -
