Original 1929 Version:
The US Kino release is currently the only release we have specs for.

1952 Reissue Version:
The Mill Creek release is currently the only release we have specs for.

Note that the reissue version has been released by a number of public domain DVD companies.

The original 1929 version is a silent film with two talkie scenes - the prologue and a mid-story bridge with Douglas Fairbanks speaking as D'Artagnan. The Vitaphone sound discs were considered lost for years but were recovered in 1999. The Kino Video release has the synchronized dialogue, though it has a newly composed score rather than the original 1929 score from the Vitaphone discs.

In 1952, the Odyssey Pictures Corporation reissued the film as a sound film without intertitles, with Douglas Fairbanks Jr. dubbing his father's sound lines and giving full narration. A new score was composed by Allan Gray.
