Theatrical Version
The US original release is the only version we have specs for, though note it is non-anamorphic and has few extras.
Altered Theatrical Version
The US 25th AE has a longer documentary.
Director's Cut
Between all "The Version You've Never Seen" editions, though note that the US release has some exclusive text-based extras.
Altered Director's Cut:
The Italian release is the only one we have specs for.
The following versions of the movie are known:
- The Theatrical version (~122min),
- The Altered Theatrical version (~122min), in which the "jump cut" when Karras expels the demon from his body at the end has been replaced by a subtle morph, and the 70s Warner Bros. logo has been replaced by a recent one (Special thanks to Vincent Pereira for providing this information),
- The Director's cut AKA "The Version You've Never Seen" (~132min).
- The Altered Director's cut, in which two of the demon/gargoyle face effects have been removed (~132min).
