OVERALL: Draw
When it comes to English speaking people, none of these releases is perfect:
-R2 French CE, for containing both versions of the film with commentaries and the best selection of extras. Do note, that the 2nd Audio commentary ("Director's Cut") and a few other extras are in Japanese, and no English subtitles. Furthermore, Japanese language parts on the film are only subtitled in French.
-R2 Japanese release has all the extras of the French CE (minus the theatrical version and its commentary), and has a DTS track, but no subtitles on any of the extras.
-R0 Korean -release has "Director's Cut" with DTS, and both Audio commentaries (again, "Director's Cut" in Japanese only), but there´s no *actual movie audio* on the "PG-13 Theatrical"-version, and it´s also missing some extras (Under the Skin/Video Diaries/Visual Universe). Japanese language parts on the film are subtitled in English.
-Choose R1 Unrated Extended release or the R2 UK 'Extended Director's Cut' release, if you want to listen the Japanese Audio commentary with English subtitles (also the one in the 15 "Deleted Scenes").
-If you really want the "PG-13 Theatrical"-version with DTS, choose the R3 HK release (ES) or R2 Scandinavian/Dutch releases.
To see a picture comparison between the R1, R3, R1 (DC), R2 Dutch, R2 Japan (DC) and R2 German; go Here (DVD-Heaven). -
