The Criterion release for the best extras. Do note, it misses a few extras from the R1 USA Entertainment release. The Japanese disc has a full bitrate English DTS track but loses on the 2 "An Intimate Portrait Of The Art Of" featurettes from the R1 USA Entertainment release (one of those featurettes is on the Criterion release though). The choice is yours as to what is more important.
