OVERALL: Draw
The R1 Criterion and R2 BFI releases include differing extras.
Note the Criterion uses a new 4K transfer in the original 1.66:1 aspect ratio approved by the director and cinematographer, while previous widescreen releases are in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio (a co-production, it would have been protected for 1.85:1).
"The Guardian Interview" with Paul Schrader on the BFI release can also be found on the R0 Powerhouse release of Hardcore.
