OVERALL: R1
The R1 is the best edition available so far with two cuts of the film and the best extras.
The German release from M-Square includes two cuts of the film as well, but only minor extras.
The German "Phantastische Filmklassiker #1 - Die 80er" has lengthy extras and three cuts of the film, but the DVD only includes the director's cut and commentary and all other extras and cuts are on the Blu-ray only. -
