The US "Extended Edition" contains both cuts of the film via seamless branching (note, that it has a "subtitle stream" that indicates the extended scenes).

Do note however, that the disc may have problems with the branching and the film stalls momentarily as the extended scenes are inserted into the movie in certain players (often losing parts of the movie in the process).
