R1 The Restored Director's Cut America- Home Vision Entertainment - No cuts (187:06 NTSC)
- IMDB lists two runtimes: 187 min for Sweden, and 180 min elsewhere. The cover says "Restored Director's Cut", but we do not know the basis for this claim. In the interview, Liv Ullmann confirms that she made various cuts, and she had “final cut” approval for the film, However, she still thinks that an extra 30 minutes would have made it a better film, and she wonders whether a longer version might be used for the DVD release. Unfortunately, she does not mention the baseline runtime for the “extra 30 minutes” statement. - R2 Norway- Nordisk Film - No cuts - Restored Director's Cut (179:36 PAL).
