It has been noted that this release has been released in three different DVD covers with different restored versions. The front cover has a black & white box in the bottom left corner displaying:
1. "African Tribe Around A Statue" 1999 unrestored print, at least 3 cuts to film (Gorilla Breaking Into The Room After Nyoka / Shamba Being Stabbed / Gerald Mohr Falling To His Death).
2. "Nyoka With An Ape" 2000 partly restored print, at least 2 cut (Gorilla Breaking Into The Room After Nyoka / Gerald Mohr Falling To His Death).
3. "Nyoka Riding An Elephant" digitally remastered print, at least one cut (Gerald Mohr Falling To His Death).
