OVERALL: R0
US for the interview.
Do note that both US R0 editions offer an interview and that the Japanese disc seems to have Italian audio, but its specifications are still to be confirmed.
It has long been believed that all versions are cut except for the Shameless edition which features seven stabs instead of five during one of the murders, but the two additional stabs were inserted from footage exclusive to the trailer and were not part of the original assembly. -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Blue Underground - No cuts (94:24 NTSC)
- R0 The Giallo Collection America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts (94:24 NTSC)
- R0 Germany- Eyecatcher Movies - No cuts (90:23 PAL)
- R0 United Kingdom- Shameless Screen Entertainment - No cuts. In the scene in which a murder takes place in the room with the birdcage, we see the assailant stab the victim seven times, but the additional two stabs have been inserted from the film's trailer and are not part of the original assembly.
- R2 Germany- Koch Media - No cuts (90:11 PAL)
- R2 Japan- Epcot - No cuts
