OVERALL: R1
But not by such a large margin as it might first look. R1 is indeeed w/s anamorphic but it is a matte of the 4:3 fullscreen. IMDB do not give the OAR of this straight to video release. If the additional information top/bottom is the preference then it is just the R1 DD 5.1 upmix that gives it the edge over R2 UK, unless you want the cut R-rated version...
There's also a Korean release which looks to have similar specs to R1 - if you have confirmed specs then please post them via our forum. -
CUTS:
- R1 America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts - Unrated version (92:30 NTSC)
- R1 America- New Line Home Entertainment - No cuts - contains both "R-rated" (91:20 NTSC) and "Unrated" (92:26 NTSC) versions of the film.
- R2 Holland- Prime Time Entertainment - No cuts. Unknown version.
- R2 United Kingdom- Medusa Pictures - No cuts "Unrated" version (88:48 PAL)
- R2 United Kingdom- Prism Leisure - No cuts
