GENERAL NOTES:
US prints begin with a text scroll which Vestron requested of screenwriter Stephen Volk (approximately 30 seconds) providing historical context about the events depicted.
Due to a lawsuit filed against Thomas Dolby by Dolby Labs, the Dolby Stereo logo appears nowhere on the film or the original U.S. theatrical posters which advertise the film as being "Presented in 4 Track Stereo" while the theatrical trailer erroneously stated "Presented in 6-Track Stereo". The Dolby Stereo logo did appear on the subsequent video ads, videotape and laserdisc artwork.
