OVERALL: Draw
- HK "Avant-Garde" edition (or "Avant-Garde CE" boxset) and HK CE have both DTS soundtracks and the best extras ("Avant-Garde" editions have full bitrate DTS, but no Dolby Digital) ; however, all the extras may not be English friendly.
- R2 Japan has many extras (including a longer "Making Of" featurette and an exclusive interview) and a DTS soundtrack, but is not English friendly whatsoever.
- R2 UK UE has many extras (including a longer "Making Of" featurette), all of which are English friendly, but no DTS.
R4 should be avoided since it is a NTSC/PAL conversion.
Also note that R2 UK SE has an exclusive featurette.
General note about the audio: Main language is Mandarin, but the track is multi-language (it also has Cantonese, English, Korean and Hindi). -
