OVERALL: Draw
Only minor language differences.
Note the US release has the "US Theatrical Version" and all other releases have the "International Version".
Also note the Scandinavian release is missing the easter eggs.
Differences between the two versions can be found at Movie-Censorship. -
CUTS:
-
R1 America- New Line Home Entertainment - No cuts "US version" (95:30 NTSC). 2 scenes have "less blood" in the US-version (minor SPOILERS):
1) Viggo Mortensen is breaking the nose from one of the bad guys. When the guy is on the ground, in the US-version he twitches as blood dribbles down his face. In the International-version, the blood spurts a bit more.
2) Viggo Mortensen stomps on the throat of one of the bad guys. In the US-version, the shot of the stomping has the crunching sound of the neck breaking diminshed with blood 'welling' up in the guy's mouth. In the International version, the crunching sound of the neck is sharper and more distinct and the guy coughs/chokes some of the blood out of his mouth as he's stomped. (This info from Jamieson McGonigle/Mobius-forum). - R2 Edition Prestige France- Metropolitan - No cuts "International version".
