The Dark Sky Films release has an anamorphic transfer whilst the Retromedia release has additional extra features.
The film exists in two versions:
(1.) Jack Curtis’ director's cut of the film prepared for the Dark Sky DVD. This removes 3:13 from Martin Kosleck’s Nazi flashback scene (87 minutes NTSC = 84 minutes PAL).
(2.) The original theatrical cut which has the 3:13 Nazi flashback sequence as well as a splash-of-colour gimmick at the end of the movie (both added after production by the distributor) (90 minutes NTSC = 86 minutes PAL). -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Dark Sky Films - Yes - Director's cut but the missing scenes are included as an extra (87:03 NTSC)
- R0 America- Retromedia - No cuts - Theatrical version (90:16 NTSC)
