The scenes of violence are intact on this release.
This seems to be an early alternate cut to the 92 min (PAL) cut, this version being released on DVD in 2005, whilst elsewhere it was released in 2007. Additions are generally extensions of dialogue, more notably a longer end to the scene where Justin Timberlake is saved in his apartment by LL Cool J, and more of Timberlake firing dual guns in the climax. -

OVERALL: Draw
The Scandinavian release is the best all round with the film in the OAR, an English DTS track and a couple of extras.
The French release has a dubbed DTS track but an alternate ending.
Note that some of the later PAL DVD releases (including the British release) contain a slightly shorter version of the film (see 'Versions', below).
VERSIONS:
There seems to be more than one edit of the film. Rewind user Leigh Riding reports that since the film's original release (with a run time of 99 mins - NTSC; 95 mins - PAL), a shortened edit of the film seems to have entered into circulation, and is presented on some of the later PAL DVD releases; this shorter edit of the film runs for 92 mins (PAL).
The German DVD (released in 2005) and the Estonian release both contain the longer 95 minute-long edit of the film*, whereas some of the later PAL DVDs (such as the British DVD release, issued in 2007) contain the 92 minute-long version of the film.
The longer edit runs for 95 mins (PAL), and the additions to this edit of the film are generally extensions of dialogue: notably a longer end to the scene in which Justin Timberlake is saved in his apartment by LL Cool J, and more of Timberlake firing dual guns in the climax.
* The R1 DVD states a run time of 99 minutes (NTSC), which would suggest that it too contains the longer cut of the film. -
CUTS:
- R0 Estonia- V&K Holding - No Cuts (95:03 PAL) - longer cut (see 'Versions', above)
- R1 America- Sony Pictures Home Entertainment - No Cuts (99 min - NTSC) - longer cut (see 'Versions', above)
- R2 France- Metropolitan - No Cuts
- R2 Germany- Kinowelt - No Cuts (95 mins - PAL) - longer cut (see 'Versions', above)
- R2 Holland- Bridge Entertainment - No cuts
- R2 Scandinavia- Scanbox - No Cuts
- R2 United Kingdom- Lionsgate Home Entertainment - No Cuts (91:37 min - PAL) - shorter cut (see 'Versions', above)
