R2 United Kingdom- Network - Yes - There are cuts to several episodes. It's possible these edited versions were originally used in daytime slots on the Granada Plus TV channel. The ad caps are intact, but the LWT Idents are missing:
- "Armed and Extremely Dangerous" (Pilot): The scene where Dempsey shoots his partner Joey is cut, removing his second shot, and his shot at the fleeing Coltrane.
- "Given to Acts of Violence": The scene where Egan kills Ferguson outside the pub is trimmed to remove his 'killing' shot. Also a whole 2 minute scene where Egan and gang take over the railway 'stop' has been removed. A worker is beaten there, and thrown over some railings by a gang member, certainly resulting in severe injury or even death.
- "Hors De Combat": The scene where Tommy kills the man at the dog track is cut down to remove the shot of the man slumping over showing the screwdriver in his back.
- "Nowhere to Run": The shootout at the end of the episode is significantly edited to remove various shots of people being hit / falling and some of Dempsey's moves and shots.
