Notes:The film was shot in Super 35 which has a hard matte aspect ratio of 1.66:1, but is designed to be reframed for theatrical exhibition. In this case to 2.35:1. Films shot this way usually have a common top with only a small amount of info lost there. You also lose a sliver down the sides but gain a great deal in the lower half of the frame.

OVERALL: Draw
The R1 release has the best all round selection of extras (and OAR) whilst the Scandinavian R2 has a DTS track (and OAR).
However, based on the Beaver's screen caps the UK DVD has a more colourful palette (the Beaver refers to seeing it that way on the big screen); albeit still desaturated. It's certainly got a different more sympathetic grade than the US disc.
Note:
The copyright on prints is 2005, but the film debuted at the Toronto Film Festival in September 2004.
