Those reviews were written by people who haven't watched this DVD at all.
First,
is incorrect coz it's actually 1536 kbps.DTS 5.1 surround (bitrate 754 kb/s)
Second, the transfer isn't cropped but open-matte.

I have to disagree. The reason this took me an hour is because I also used their screenshots. They even point one out here:
On the UK release I see what is in the small box, more image on the sides.

The UK transfer shows more info at sides but less at top and bottom. I prefer the dutch transfer anyway. Plus the DTS track is more detailed then that standart DD crap.

That's because the sides have been cropped and the top and bottom opened up slightly to suit the 1.78:1 ratio. Personally, I would take a mono track and OAR over a DTS track and a picture size not as the director intended!
