Warner to get access to Paramount catalogue

Warner have signed a deal to get access to 600 titles in Paramount's catalogue including titles like Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

This is good news IMO. Paramount have long neglected the home media market apart from their big titles, so hopefully we'll see quite a few new titles released from the back catalogue, even if just MOD.

Paramount and Warner are known for releasing very poor DVDs and Blu-Rays.
I don't consider such transaction to be a good deal for us. They'll just reissue all those old turds in a new package, and you can call it a day.

Well, the only movie I want to get from Paramount, which is still unavailable on DVD/BR for some reason, is The Keep. Everything else I'll definitely ignore.
