Well, you should give it a second chance IMO

When I'll get Blu, maybe, possibly... no promises though. Already got like 30 boxes filled with titles I still haven't seen... and so little time.

Penelope Cruz keeps throwing me off.

Never liked her, and I mean at all. Neither as actress (rather very poor one), nor as a female (not my type).

Orange County (2002) (UK DVD) - Decent little comedy with Colin Hanks and Jack Black. I'm surprised Schuyler Fisk isn't in more films though. 6/10

Baby Geniuses (1999) (UK DVD) - Oh wow, that was terrible. Really bad. Can't believe that not only is there one sequel, but a third film came out in 2013. They really are putting out DTV sequels for everything right now. 1/10

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) - Hmmm. I'm a fan of this type of movie, and some of the laughs had me in tears, but the majority of the funny bits were in the trailer and it was a slow starter. I do think the best scenes were easily those with the kid by himself, rather than those with Johnny Knoxville. 6/10

Vampire Wars (1990) (UK DVD) - Just not my type of thing I guess. Good ideas, but tried to fit them all into 50 minutes. 3/10

Agathe Cléry (French DVD)
I enjoyed Chatiliez first comedies, but his last movies are really big disappointments. It's not that bad as I thought it was going to be after the first few minutes, but it's no good either - 5/10.

You mean those Jackass series about eating your own poop and drinking piss? Putting dynamite in a pile of dog crap and etc?
That's one disgusting and totally unfunny bisiness I'll tell you that...

It's a film made by Johnny Knoxville, but is nothing like the actual Jackass TV show or films. It's kind of like Borat, but using an old Grandad as the character on the unsuspecting public with a loose storyline.

Well, in that case I'll watch it, too! I love Borat, Bruno and Dictator so much! :-D The guy is SO FUNNY, always!
I've pissed my pants laughing and not ashamed admitting that! Coz it's worth it.

I recommend viewing the trailer on Youtube. It's a pretty good representation of the feature.

PLATOON (UK blu-ray) - first viewing: 8.5/10

Saw it once at the cinema when it premiered. Once years later on the S.E. dvd. Still holds up well, entertaining yet thought provoking. One of my favorite Vietnam war films.

Initially I didn't intend to upgrade to blu-ray. But being a steelbook collector, the steelbook is too good to pass up :P

Hunt vs Lauda (2013) (UK DVD) - Cracking BBC documentary about the formula one championship of 1976. I'm not really a formula one fan, but I was glued. 9/10

Hugo (French Blu 2D)
Wonderful tribute to the cinema (and to Dickens), great directing, great cast (Ben Kingsley, Christopher Lee, Jude Law...). As awkward as it may sound, given what the man usually does, this a major Scorsese movie! 8/10

Hit & Run

It's about that girl who hit some guy with her car and buried him, and then he started screwing up her life?

The Rum Diary

I still haven't watched it. Got the disc but no time... one thing you can't buy.

I`ve been pushing back watching it for two years. It was much different than I thought it would be ... in a good way.

How to Use Guys with Simple Tips (2013) (UK DVD) - Quirky Korean romcom with a slightly different take on things. Worth a watch. 7/10

Thanks for Sharing (2013) (UK DVD) - The cast elevated this one for me. Tim Robbins was excellent. 7/10
