The Real McCoy [R2 Benelux] ADDED

Post by Jim_Mcdonaugh »

Publisher: Universal Pictures
Extras: Theatrical Trailer (1:48)
Subtitles: Dutch (optional)
Aspect Ratio: 1.78:1
Picture Format: PAL / Anamorphic/ 25 fps / Interlaced
Soundtrack(s):
English DTS-ES 5.0 Matrix
English Dolby Digital 5.0
French Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround
Case type: Keep Case
Runtime: 100:20

DTS track is 755 Kbps and is 24 bit. Use RC to turn off subtitles as there's no audio menu.
Both English tracks have no LFE channel, though back cover and disc menu state they do have.
The DVD menu is available in Dutch and French. The disc has no scene selection menu.
The trailer is in English with burnt-in Dutch subtitles.
Back cover incorrectly states that runtime is 90 min and there are English menus.
The transfer is EXTREMELY poor VHS-quality. It's very dirty, soft and all colors are totally off. It's one of the worst DVD transfers EVER, no kidding.

Given this post has comparison screencaps, shouldn't we move it to reference and add a link in the comparison?

It depends. Was each screengrab taken the same way and are the pics going to stay online Jim?

Yap, used PowerDVD13 (captured/saved as PNG), then Photoshop CS13. Saved as png, so no quality loss.

and are the pics going to stay online Jim?

I hope so, though it's not up to me.
