NOWHERE TO HIDE [1987] (YouTube) - 7.5/10

I remember watching this twice: at the cinema and on video! A Canadian production that many have forgotten and few have appreciated. Besides the tight, action-oriented direction and the cast: Amy Madigan, Michael Ironside and John Colicos, Brad Fiedel's score helps to kick this film up a notch. This is an underrated action thriller that should be released on blu-ray.
*N=New to collection :-D, U=Upgrade :), DD=Double Dipping , R=Replacement for damaged disc :-?

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Still holds up after 10 years. Shame about the censorship on the BD though...

Whilst away working last week (mainly TV viewings):

621. The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) - 8/10
622. Happy Gilmore (1996) - 8/10
623. From Dusk Till Dawn (1995) - 9/10
624. Machete (2010) - 8/10
625. Shanghai Knights (2003) - 6/10
626. Let's Be Cops (2014) - 6/10

and today:

627. What Happens in Vegas (2008, UK Blu) - 6/10
628. Bottoms Up (2006, German Blu) - 2/10
629. McLibel (2005, UK DVD) - 8/10
630. Bone Dry (2007, UK DVD) - 5/10

Two major cock-ups with what I viewed today audio wise. Bottoms Up had no channel separation on the crappy lossy track it carries, with all audio and dialogue coming from every speaker at all times. PQ was awful too, and obviously an upscaled SD transfer. Got the hatrick by also being in the worst ten films I have seen this year. Second cock up was Bone Dry starring Lance Henriksen and Luke Goss. All dialogue came through the rear left, no matter where characters were placed.

I actually thought someone had farted about with my set-up whilst away at one stage, but nope, everything is okay, and I checked another ten+ discs with different types of tracks and all were perfect. Just bad luck.
