Bought "The Burbs" bluray but didn't notice it was a new 2015 re-release version (didn't even know there was such a release), that is barebones. When I ordered it it had the same price as the 2014 release so telling difference was not so easy. Now they have slashed the price on this barebones POS.
Haven't had much luck with buying discs lately. Ordered a bluray from zoverstocks, got used and abused rental DVD instead. Should take a break from buying for a year or two and just go trough my unwatched piles
Shame about that Ain. Arrow made sure to be clear about it on their official pages that they were releasing a barebones version for supermarkets etc who require a lower price point, so it is a shame they made it to Amazon. Return it, get your refund, and then get the right one! Or wait until one of Arrow's sales on their own site where everything gets cheap.

Samuel_Scott wrote:Arrow themselves have re-released it barebones as I said above.
(though Amazon incorrectly list it as Universal)
Michael Brooke confirmed this at blu-ray.com
Ain_Uussaar wrote:If you look at that 2014 "Special Edition" page you see it has that cover too. I guess it has reversible cover.
Davy_Lee wrote:The best way to avoid such things, if we buy from Amazon, is to save the exact title we want into our wishlist or basket. That way we won't be getting the wrong product. That's what I do.
Anyway, enjoy the film Ain
