Santo vs. the Terror Riders (1970) Blu-ray

https://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/ ... ?fid=60549

Blu-ray ALL United Kingdom - Powerhouse Films [2024 Release]
Limited Edition

In the Notes section, it currently has:

Limited edition of 84000 individually numbered units for the UK.

This should be either 4,000 or 8,000, not 84000.

---
This leads on to a more general point about some of the Powerhouse Films releases. Recently, they have released quite a few "Numbered Limited Edition" items in both the UK and USA. However, the total quantity seems to be ambiguous. For example, for the above release, their website states:

"Limited edition of 8,000 individually numbered units for the UK and US"

Does this mean 8,000 in total with 4,000 in each territory, or 16,000 in total with 8,000 in each territory?
Most people seem to be assuming the former, but I suspect the latter is actually true. However, so far I have been unable to determine. Does anyone else know?

They are individually numbered, such as [#100/4,000] on the packaging.

They are individually numbered, but if you are certain that for this particular release there are 4,000 (and numbered out of 4,000) for each territory, it means that the Powerhouse website is inconsistent in how it displays the total number of items.

For this item (Santo vs. the Terror Riders), it states:

"Limited edition of 8,000 individually numbered units for the UK and US"

https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/colle ... -terror-le
https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/colle ... rror-le-us

If you are correct, they mean 4,000 UK + 4,000 US = 8,000 globally.

However, with some releases of numbered items, their website reports the number of items as the number for each territory e.g. Mexico Macabre box set, for which it states:

"Limited edition box set of 6,000 individually numbered units for the UK and US"

https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/colle ... 59-1963-le
https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/colle ... 1963-le-us

But in this case, the UK release alone is numbered out of 6,000 (source: I own it), implying that there are 6,000 UK + 6,000 US = 12,000 globally.

Also, with some releases of unnumbered items, they have stated that the there was a total for each territory e.g. The Brute (Limited Edition), which had 2,000 copies for the UK, but 4,000 copies globally, the other 2,000 being in the US, although in this particular case it is reported slightly differently for the UK vs the US release:

"Limited edition of 2,000 copies for the UK (4,000 copies for the world)"
https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/products/the-brute-le

"Limited edition of 4,000 copies for the UK and US"
https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/produ ... rute-le-us

All very confusing!
