-------
DVD:

---
R0 America - Blue Underground

1. Release year: according to Blu-ray.com, this edition was originally released in 2005, although my copy is dated 2012 on the back (the same as the photo of the back cover on Blu-ray.com).
2. Aspect Ratio is 1.76:1 as measured by me (although you might want to round this to 1.75:1 to be consistent with some other releases).
3. Extras (including spelling correction (Zoe -> Zoie)):

"Jess' Women" 2005 interview with director Jess Franco (17:32) (in French with optional English subtitles)
Deleted & Alternate Scenes (with "Play All" option):
- "Scene 1: Marie's Flashback" (4:41)
- "Scene 2: Zoie's Flashback" (16:11) (with burnt-in Greek subtitles)
- "Scene 3: Extended Ending" (1:21)
Theatrical Trailer (1:43)
Poster & Stills Gallery:
- Posters (4 images)
- Lobby Cards (8 images)
- Black & White Stills (18 images)
- Color Stills (12 images)
- Pressbook (16 images)
Credits (1 page)
DVD-ROM Content: Biography for director Jess Franco (11 page pdf)

---
R2 United Kingdom - Redemption Films

1. Release year: this edition does not appear to be listed on Blu-ray.com, but according to BBFC website and amazon.co.uk (ASIN: B000P0JOVG) was submitted and released in 2007.
2. Aspect Ratio is 1.74:1 as measured by me (although you might want to round this to 1.75:1 to be consistent with some other releases).
3. Runtime is 88:33 (NTSC->PAL) (with cuts as already stated).
4. Extras:

"Jess' Women" 2005 interview with director Jess Franco (17:33) (in French with burnt-in English subtitles)
Deleted & Alternate Scenes:
- "Scene 1: Marie's Flashback" (4:39)
- "Scene 2: Zoie's Flashback" (16:11) (with burnt-in Greek subtitles)
- "Scene 3: Extended Ending" (1:20)
Stills Gallery (10 images)
Theatrical Trailer (1:41)
Redemption / Salvation contact details (1 page)
Bonus Trailer: "Venus in Furs" (2:51)

(Note that, in the menu, the Deleted & Alternate Scenes are simply named: SCENE ONE, SCENE TWO, SCENE THREE. Unlike on the Blue Undeground DVD, there is no text introduction/explanation for each scene. I have included the scene names in the details above to make it easier to compare with other releases.)

5. My copy does not have a reversible cover.
6. It seems the movie was released again by Redemption / Salvation with a different cover (ASIN: B00LMME54M), although I don't know if the disc content is the same.

The spelling correction (Zoe -> Zoie) should also be applied to the Australian release and the OVERALL section.

Blu-ray ALL America - Blue Underground - 3-Disc Limited Edition

French Hardcore Version:
French DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 (incorrectly flagged as English)

English SDH, French, Spanish (optional)

French Hardcore Version:
English (optional)

4. DISC ONE Extras (including spelling correction (Zoe -> Zoie)):

"Jess' Women" 2005 interview with director Jess Franco (17:32) (in French with forced English subtitles)
"Jess, Harry & 99 Women" 2016 interview with writer Stephen Thrower (16:26)
Deleted & Alternate Scenes (Play All - 22:57):

Blu-ray ALL America - Blue Underground - 3-Disc Unrated Director's Cut

1. Release year: according to Blu-ray.com, this edition was released in 2016. It seems this edition was released in Canada too.
2. DISC ONE Extras (including spelling correction (Zoe -> Zoie)):

"Jess' Women" 2005 interview with director Jess Franco (17:32) (in French with forced English subtitles)
"Jess, Harry & 99 Women" 2016 interview with writer Stephen Thrower (16:26)
Deleted & Alternate Scenes (Play All - 22:57):
- "Scene 1: Marie's Flashback" (4:55)
- "Scene 2: Zoie's Flashback" (16:26) (with burnt-in Greek subtitles)
- "Scene 3: Extended Ending" (1:35)
Theatrical Trailer (1:42)
Poster & Stills Gallery (66 images)

(Note that I do not own this release. The above specs are based in the assumption that DISC ONE is identical to DISC ONE of the 3-Disc Limited Edition.)

---
The spelling correction (Zoe -> Zoie) should also be applied to the OVERALL section.

-------
General Note: The Deleted & Alternate Scenes have longer runtimes on the Blu-rays than the DVDs, simply due to the fact that they include a text introduction/explanation within the runtime. The UK Redemption Films DVD has no text, and on the American Blue Underground DVD, the text is presented prior to playing each scene.

BU is 2005. BU and dome other labels changed distributors after Warner acquired Ryko Distribution and there were some objections about them handing adult material (not sure if it was a BU title or a Severin one).

The 2005 dvd has a slightly different cover with the Ryko logo on the back.

Thanks Eric.

A few points:

1. The runtime for the UK Redemption Films DVD has not been updated to 88:33. Perhaps this is just an extra 3 seconds of black at the end though.

2. On the Blue Underground 3-Disc Limited Edition (2 x Blu-ray + CD), on the French Hardcore Version, BOTH French soundtracks are incorrectly flagged as English, not just the DTS-HD one. This can be fixed by changing the lines to:

French DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0*
French Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono*

*The French tracks are incorrectly flagged as English.

3. A couple of the Blu-ray releases (American Blue Underground 3-Disc Unrated Director's Cut, and Austrian NSM Records Mediabook Cover E) have DVD copies, so these could also be added to the DVD page. That would be quite a bit of work though, and I don't personally have the precise specs. I'll leave it up to you whether you think it's possible and worth it. I have noticed that a lot of pages for other movies are incomplete in this way (either a Blu-ray + DVD not listed on the DVD page, or a UHD + Blu-ray not listed on the Blu-ray page).

We have no confirmation as to whether the DVD copy in the BU is a new disc in the 1.66:1 ratio or the older DVD. BU's recent 4K/Blu-ray and Blu-ray/DVD include the new transfer on the older format but we have no confirmation for this edition
