R2 France is the best edition, with the 1.66:1 original aspect ratio, anamorphic tranfer, the original French Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, and the best selection of extras; however this edition is not English friendly.

If this is a problem, then the best choice would probably be the R1 Canada edition, which has the original aspect ratio, original Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack and unforced/unburned subtitles.
