The Criterions have both cuts of the film and superior extras, although do note that the (US) MGM release has a different documentary.
Different versions:
- "General Release" version.
- "Roadshow" version (AKA "Extended Version" on Criterion's release, or "Restored Version" on MGM's Laserdisc).
"Extended" version includes almost complete version of the original roadshow cut (it's approx. 15 minutes longer than the "Restored Version", and approx. 35 minutes longer than the "General Release" version).
