OVERALL: Draw

R2 UK (both HKL and Cine Asia re-release) and R4 release have additional extra features and anamorphic transfer, while the R1 and R3 both have a DTS track. The Japanese DVD (not English friendly) contains the longer Japanese version of the film.

GENERAL NOTES:
According to director Sammo Hung, the fight sequences that appear as deleted scenes on some DVD releases were never actually part of the original Chinese release of the film. They were added into the Japanese release at the request of the co-producer/distributor Shochiku (who promoted the film as a “trademark action film from Jackie Chan”) as the Japanese market demanded more action. (Thanks to mentasm for this info).
