OVERALL: Draw
U.S. release has 3D with additional short films. However, it's using the "U.S. dub" of the film. Scandinavian 3D release has both versions (2D/3D) along with the "UK dub".
Note that the DVD (included in some editions) has a minor exclusive extra: "Mr. Bobo's Flash Card Challenge" interactive game (along with some DVD-ROM features for kids).
Main differences with the dubs:
- "The Albino Pirate" is voiced by Russell Tovey in the UK version, but by Anton Yelchin in the U.S. version.
- "The Pirate Who Likes Sunsets and Kittens" is voiced by Ben Whitehead in the UK version, but by Al Roker in the U.S. version.
- Some of the jokes are changed.
- There was also one dialogue change to all versions (for more info, please see Wikipedia):
* Original (included in the trailer in Dec 2011): "Gold? Afraid we don't have any gold, old man. This is a Leper boat. (arm falls off) See?"
* Release version: "Gold? This is a plague boat, old man. I give my right arm for some gold. (arm falls off) Or my left! (laughs)" -
