Mei Ah's remastered edition has the Hong Kong version with DTS audio and English subtitles.
The French release is by far the best one available as it contains both cuts of the film and some additional extra features, but it is not English.
Eastern Heroes in the U.K. have released both versions but in separate editions and as non-anamorphic transfers.

GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in two versions:
- the Hong Kong cut (~91 minutes) which adds modern day sequences due to a fire mid-production that destroyed several sets before scenes could be shot;
- the export version (~92 minutes) which did not include the modern day sequences but did include several sequences not intended for the Hong Kong version and not included in it.
