OVERALL: R1
The US 2-disc "75th Anniversary Edition" includes the most extras including the Universal Horror documentary. Note, that it´s missing the "Stephen Sommers" featurette from "The Legacy Collection" sets.
The US "The Complete Legacy Collection" includes additional films and more extras than the standard Legacy collections, but is also missing the "Stephen Sommers" featurette.
The US R1, German R2, or Scandinavian R2 "The Legacy Collection" sets include an exclusive featurette by "Van Helsing" director Stephen Sommers.
Note, that there´s a difference between the "Older soundtrack", and "Legacy/re-release soundtrack". Noise reduction was done in the "Legacy/re-release soundtrack", and many people say, that it erased original elements from the film's original ambient track. The "older soundtrack" has more "background noise", but it's considered as being more true to the original soundtrack. The "75th Anniversary Edition" uses the "Legacy/re-release" soundtrack. -
