The German release, fully uncut and anamorphic, is the clear winner here.
Do note the US release is fully in English and from a new HD master (also note, though, that Severin's Blu-ray release has several extras not included on the DVD edition).
Please note that there are numerous fullframe, tape-sourced 'grey market' releases in the US.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in two primary versions:
- the original cut (~91 mins at 24fps/~87 mins at 25fps);
- the so-called home video cut "Naked Massacre" (~86 mins at 24fps/~83 mins at 25fps) which makes pacing trims throughout, rearranges the opening scenes, and adds incidental music where there was none originally. -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Severin Films - No cuts - original version (91:37).
- R2 Germany- Vidiots/Media Target - No cuts (87:55 PAL)
