OVERALL: Draw
The German 25th Anniversary Edition includes 3 versions of the film and the most extras. The MVD release has some exclusive extras as well but only has the theatrical cut on the DVD side of the combo. Do note that the only edition of the theatrical cut that has a 5.1 track appears to be an upmix.
* R-Rated US Cut: R1 has additional minor extras over the R4 release.
* International Cut: R2 French release has the original aspect ratio. However, it also has forced subtitles during the English audio track - if this is a problem, then go for the R2 Scandinavian or UK (4:3 Full Frame) release.
Please note that the Italian release contains some, but not all, of the footage from the unrated/international edit of the film and is thus a hybrid of the R-rated version and the unrated cut.
The difference between the "R-Rated US Cut" and "International Cut" of the film.
R-Rated US Cut: Released as Lionheart.

- 36:15 Alternate Line: At the Hospital, Lyon asks the doctor "Doc, My question is... Did they catch them?" Doctor "Yes, Mr Gaultier. I believe the police have them in custody", "If I were you, I'd be a little more concerned about his wife and his child". (0.13)
- 49:08 Extended Scene: Cynthia brings Lyon a blue shirt while he is getting changed, we see Cynthia run her hands down Lyon chest and she says "No… How about this? Any better?" Store assistant "Ermm Ermm… Every think o.k. in there?" Lyon "Every think is fine". (0.22)
International Cut: Released as "A.W.O.L" Scandinavian / UK, "Full Contact" France and "Wrong Bet" Australia (R-Rated VHS), are all the same cut and contain a longer version of the film.

They might have been customers that he sold some bad stuff to? They might have been kids playing a sick prank? We may never know, he was too delirious to tell the police much of any think", "If I were you, I'd be a little more concerned about his wife and his child". (0.24)

Cynthia "Get of it Lyon, I know I said some things I probably shouldn’t have, but if I had known the truth about your situation. Why didn’t you tell me?
