OVERALL: R1
R1 Classic Media release for original Japanese audio with English subtitles, extras, and both versions of the film (although the US Version is cropped to 1.78:1).
Also note that the Japanese and German (R0, Marketing-Film) releases have some extras but are not English friendly.
The US Simitar release has the US Version in its OAR of 2.35:1, but it's non-anamorphic.

Four versions of this film exist:
(1.) The original Japanese version (89 minutes NTSC = 85 minutes PAL).
(2.) The US version Which has one additional action sequence: "The Frontier Missile sequence" (The scene in which the U.S. military attempt to stop Godzilla by using Frontier Missiles). This is missing from the Japanese print. This footage slightly alters the arrangement of events of the American and European versions (88 minutes NTSC = 85 minutes PAL).
(3.) European version which is unknown as to how it differs (~90 minutes NTSC = 86 minutes PAL).
