If you need an English-friendly version, the R1 & R2 Czech/UK/German (Koch Media) releases are the safest choices.

The German R2 edition from EMS is at least partly English-friendly (the movie), and is the better choice if you can follow spoken German, but we do not know whether all the extras are English-friendly.

• R0 Czechoslavakia- Hollywood Classics Ltd - No cuts (77:48 PAL).
• R1 America- MGM Home Entertainment - No cuts (81:09 NTSC).
• R2 Germany- Koch Media - No cuts (77:53 PAL).
• R2 Edgar Allan Poe Classic Collection Germany- EMS - No cuts (77:53 PAL).
• R2 United Kingdom- Final Cut Entertainment - No cuts - The BBFC theatrical cuts are restored (77:55 PAL).
